Slated for release in the fall of 2009, the Sitton Kindergarten program promises to give students a strong foundation for the study of spelling and word skills. It will feature interactive read-alouds to motivate young learners, direct instruction in skills such as phonemic awareness, phonics, and high-frequency words, as well as a rich selection of choices for extending learning across the curriculum. An entertaining children’s theater component will provide a celebratory culmination for each unit.
